| | | Specifications | - This 90W universal power adapter is a new design released in July 2010. The voltage is chosen based on the connector tip that is used with the adapter. Unlike other auto-voltage universal adapters, the base unit provides a consistant voltage and the connector tip scales the voltage as needed. This elimnates the dangers normally associated with auto-voltage univeral adapters. The L-shaped connector tips are very small and connect comfortably to the cord with a 4-pin connector. They are designed so that once connected the user will not even notice that it is a universal adapter. The 4-pin conector uses two leads for each wire, eliminating a common failure point for universal adapters.
